Different from other hydronic radiators, classic hydronic baseboards, and standard forced air heating systems, our board does not warm by convecting the air in the room. Instead by fundamentally avoiding the currents commonly caused by forcibly heated air, we prevent the circulation of dust and pollen. Humidity levels remain within the “normal” range, and strain on the respiratory tract is significantly reduced.

Better Air & an End to Mold Growth
Because our baseboard design warms along the whole length of every individual wall, they become warmer than the air in the room. Consequently, moisture in the air no longer condenses on the wall surfaces; the water vapor remains in the air and is removed through normal ventilation. Under these conditions, the formation of mold due to room humidity is physically prevented.
This is not true for most other hydronic baseboards on the market, which work by convection and are designed to directly heat the air in one or more places in the room. Once installed our baseboard puts a virtually instant end to rising damp in wet walls

Thanks to the uniform heat distribution generated by our skirting board heaters—and the resulting comfortable indoor climate—the room temperature can be lowered by 3°C to 5°C, depending on personal preference. In addition, heat losses due to ventilation and thermal bridges are reduced. Overall, energy savings of up to 30% are possible.

All-round efficiency with better use of space. Skirting board heating systems open up new possibilities for interior design. Since there are no intrusive radiators, rooms can be furnished with much greater flexibility. Furniture can be placed directly in front of the skirting heaters without noticeably impairing their efficiency.
